Do I need to already speak Twi?
Not at all. The Beginner Deck was made for beginners, learners and anyone wanting to reconnect with their Twi. You don’t need to be fluent, that’s kind of the point 😂
How does the game work?
One person reads the hint and everyone else tries to guess the Twi word. Simple. You can play competitively, casually, with family, or just use the cards to practise by yourself.
What if I don’t know how to pronounce a word?
We’ve got you. Scan the QR code inside the box to access Hear It, where you can listen to the words pronounced by a native Twi speaker.
How many people can play?
The deck is designed for 2 to 10 players, but you can also use it on your own for learning and revision. Recommended for ages 14+.
What’s included in the box?
You’ll receive 63 premium cards across 10 everyday categories, housed inside a keepsake magnetic box. Each category is inspired by an Adinkra symbol and its meaning.
What does “First Edition” mean?
Exactly that. This is the very first Teach Me Twi card deck we’ve ever produced, and only 250 First Edition Beginner Decks were made. Once this edition is gone, it’s gone.
Why is there a limit of 2 per order?
With only 250 made, we want as many people as possible to get one. Two per order keeps it fair.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We currently ship to selected countries outside the UK, with tracked delivery available at checkout. Available destinations and shipping costs will be shown when you enter your delivery address.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are sent using tracked delivery. Delivery times vary depending on your country, and you’ll receive tracking information once your deck has been dispatched.
Is this a replacement for the lessons?
No. The deck builds your vocabulary and gets Twi into your house. Speaking confidently with people comes from our live experiences. They work well together, which is how most of our students use them.
